2. Boltcompressorbracket[A]topassengersideheadusingbolt[C]

3/8-16x1-1/4”SHCSandbolt[D]3/8-16x2”SHCS.Tighten.

3. Reinstallbracket[A]andshimbetweenbracket[A]andheadat

boltlocation[C]3/8-16x1-1/4”SHCStocompensateforcasting

variances.Tightenbolt[C]and[D].

4. Boltcompressoradjustmentarm[B]tobracket[A]usingbolt[E]3/8-

16x1-1/4”SHCSandloadwasher.Donottighten.

5. BoltSanden508compressortobracket[A]and[B]usingbolt[F]3/8-

16x1-3/4”SHCSand[G]3/8-16x1-1/4”SHCS,donottighten.Bolt

compressortobracket[B]usingbolt[H]3/8-16x1”SHCS,tighten.

6. Installcompressorbeltonfrontgroovewhenusing2-groovepulleys.

7. Applytensiononcompressorbeltandtightenbolts[E]3/8-16x1-1/4”

SHCS,[F]3/8-16x1-3/4”SHCS,and[G]3/8-16x1-1/4”SHCS.

Optional: For early heads (Pre 1987) with only 1 drilled and tapped

hole on passenger side head.BoltbracketAtoheadusingbolt

[D]3/8-16x2”SHCSwhilealigningtopofbracketparalleltovalve

covergasketsurface.Spotdrillheadatboltposition[C]using

a25/64”drillbittoprovideadequatestartfortapdrill.Remove

bracket[A]anddrillheadusinga5/16”drillbittoadepthof¾”.

Tapheadwitha3/8-16taptoprovideatleast5/8”ofthread.
